It could be due to: (i) A/E firms or staffs tend to be less savvy on business strategies; (ii) the firm does not have a clear or explicit strategic direction; (iii) only the top management are involved, and are aware of the firm’s strategic directions; (iv) the strategic directions have not been well-communicated to the organization’s overseas offices; and (v) the overseas office has been disconnected from the home-office.
